Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data

Base Works, trading as Vespera, Rietsingel 14, 2136 LB Zwaanshoek, Netherlands, is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: info@vesperadaily.com.

2. What we collect

  • When you order: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number if you give one, and what you bought. Your card details go directly to our payment provider — we never see or store them.
  • When you create an account or a subscription: your login details and your subscription schedule.
  • When you sign up for email: your email address and whether you open our messages.
  • When you contact us: whatever you write to us, so we can help you.
  • Automatically: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you visit and how you got here, through cookies and similar technologies.

We do not ask for health information and you should not send us any. If you mention something about your health in an email, we use it only to answer you.

3. Why we use it

To take payment and deliver your order; to manage your subscription; to answer your questions; to send you email you asked for; to prevent fraud; to understand how our site is used so we can improve it; and to advertise our products.

The legal grounds under the GDPR are: performing our contract with you (orders and subscriptions), your consent (marketing email and non-essential cookies), and our legitimate interests (fraud prevention, security, improving the store).

4. Who we share it with

We share only what is needed, with:

  • Shopify — our store and checkout platform
  • Shopify Payments — to take payment
  • Supliful — our fulfillment partner, to make and ship your order
  • Appstle — to manage subscriptions
  • Klaviyo — to send email you asked for
  • Meta — to measure and advertise
  • Professional advisers and authorities — where the law requires it

We never sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

We are based in the Netherlands and our providers are partly in the United States, so your data crosses borders. Where data leaves the European Economic Area we rely on the safeguards permitted under the GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

Order and invoice records for as long as tax law requires, which in the Netherlands is seven years. Account and subscription data for as long as your account exists. Marketing data until you unsubscribe. Support emails for [24] months.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to another provider. You can withdraw consent for marketing at any time, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

If you live in California, you also have the right to know what we collect and to ask us to delete it, and we will not treat you differently for asking. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under Californian law.

Email info@vesperadaily.com to exercise any of these rights. If you are in the EU and you think we handled your data badly, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

8. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the store and the cart to work, and — with your consent — cookies that measure how the site is used and that help us advertise. You can change your choice at any time through [cookie banner / browser settings].

9. Children

Our store is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date below shows when it last changed.
