How do I wear it?

Dial at its lowest on night one, an hour on the sofa. A few hours in the evening for the first week, then through the night. Move the dial up a step only once the last one stopped being noticeable.

What does it feel like?

Present, but it should never hurt. If it wakes you, turn it down a step.

Can I wear it in my shoes?

No, and be careful of anyone whose hinged brace says you can. Anything applying real sideways force cannot be walked on.

Is it safe?

It is a limb orthosis worn while you rest. If you have reduced sensation in your feet, diabetes, or an open sore, speak to a podiatrist first.

What it does

What a night in it actually does.

The plain version, before any of the rest.

The Rubbing Stops Tonight

Your big toe is held away from the second one for as long as you wear it. If they press or overlap, that pressure is off from the first night.

A Stretch, Not A Squeeze

Low force over a lot of hours is how stretching works anywhere in the body. The hinge lets the joint move while it happens.

A Counterweight To Your Shoes

Your foot spends the day being pushed inward. This pushes gently the other way, in the hours you are off your feet.

You Decide How Much

Start at the lowest setting. Move up a step only once the last one stopped being noticeable. One hand, sitting down, nothing to unthread.

Your Day Stays Your Day

Evening and overnight only. Nothing visible, no different shoes, nothing to explain at work.

You Can Start Tonight

No appointment, no referral, no waiting list. And if it does not suit your foot, you stop — that is the whole risk.

How it works

What happens while you sleep.

No biology we cannot show you. Four mechanical things, in order.

You set the dial, sitting down

One hand, before you get into bed. Start it low.

The hinge holds the toe in a different position

Not squeezed flat against the second toe. Held, with the joint still free to move.

The instep strap keeps it where you left it

Waking up without the brace is the complaint people describe most. The wide strap is the answer to it.

In the morning it comes off

Nothing to recover from, nothing to plan around.

In their own words

Worn by women, filmed at home.

Short clips from buyers, three months in.

The parts

What it is made of, and why.

Four parts, each with one job.

The hinged frame

Lets the joint move instead of locking it flat. That is what makes eight hours bearable.

The tension dial

Sets how hard it pulls, and changes in a second. No unthreading a strap in the dark.

The instep strap

Wide enough that it does not dig in, and wide enough to stay put until morning.

The toe cradle

Padded, so the pressure sits along the toe rather than on the joint itself.

The research

Nothing about a bunion stands still.

Five numbers we would rather show you than talk around. A brace changes none of them — what it does is hold the toe in a different position for the hours you are off your feet.

33.6%

of the bunions that already existed got worse. Researchers followed 1,482 people for seven years and measured every foot again at the end.

20.1%

of the people who had no bunion at the start had one seven years later.

1 in 4

is how often it came back after surgery — 24.86% across twenty studies and 2,914 people.

35.7%

of people over 65 have one. Across all adults from 18 to 65 it is 23%.

30%

of women have one, against 13% of men.

Slow and Steady Progress

“I’ve used this brace for almost three months now. I wasn’t expecting an overnight transformation, but I have noticed a gradual difference in how my big toe feels and looks after wearing it. It has become a normal part of my bedtime routine, and I appreciate that I can increase the tension slowly as I get used to it.”

A Gentle Stretch, Never Forced

“The first few nights took some adjusting, but once I found the right tension it became very comfortable. My big toe feels gently stretched, never forced.”

My Foot Feels Less Stiff

“I’ve been using Nightform consistently for about five weeks. My foot feels less stiff in the morning, and I love being able to control the pressure with the dial.”

Better Quality Than I Expected

"Just received my Nightform brace and my first impression is that it feels much sturdier than I expected. Everything arrived clean and in perfect condition."

Your Questions, Answered

Will this fix my bunion?

No. A bunion is a bone position, and a brace does not change bone. What it can do is hold the toe in a different position for a number of hours a night.

How long until I notice anything?

It varies, and most of what people report early is about pressure and ache rather than appearance. Anyone giving you a date is guessing — and we are not going to tell you the bump will be gone.

One foot or both?

One if only one foot bothers you. Both if the other is heading the same way — it is cheaper together than twice.

Is this for severe bunions?

Honestly, less so. If your big toe already crosses the second one, a podiatrist is the better next call.

Should I just have surgery?

That is between you and a podiatrist, and for some feet it is the right answer. Worth knowing first: across twenty studies and 2,914 people, the bunion returned in about a quarter of cases at an average follow-up of three and a half years (Ezzatvar et al., 2021).

Will it fit my foot?

TO CONFIRM against the supplier specification before launch. Do not publish this answer until then.
